HMS Belfast is a Royal Navy cruiser from the Second World War. On my recent trip to England to research my upcoming trilogy on a Royal Navy officer in WW Two, I spent a fair amount of time on the Belfast. On one of those visits I was accompanied by the noted U-Boat historian Jak P. Mallman-Showell who took this photo of me sitting in the Captain’s chair on the bridge of HMS Belfast.
