Pic of the Day – Arctic Star Award

Defence Staff General Sir David Richards presents Commander Eddie Grenfell RN (Ret) his Arctic Star medal. A veteran who spearheaded the 16-year campaign for recognition of the perilous Arctic Convoys during the Second World War has been presented with the first Arctic Star medal.
