Pic of the Day – Addition to the Indian Fleet

INDIAN Naval Ship Tarkash visits HMNB Portsmouth. INS Tarkash visited HMNB Portsmouth on Thursday 22nd November 2012 ,at the end of a week in which a senior team of Indian and Royal Naval staff have conducted a joint planning conference, known as KONKAN 12. The ship, built in Russia, is the newest addition to the Indian Fleet and is on her way to India for the first time. The visit provides an excellent opportunity for the public to see what life is like onboard for the Indian Navy. INS Tarkash was not involved in any stage of KONKAN 12.
