Pic of the Day – Arabian Sea Transit

ARABIAN SEA (April 22, 2012) The Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Pittsburgh (SSN 720) and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) transit the Arabian Sea. Sterett is deployed as part of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group to the US 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
