Pic of the Day – Man The Rails

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (Aug. 25, 2011) Nearly 1,000 Sailors assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) “man the rails” outside the Virginia Beach Convention Center to honor the 17 fallen SEAL team members who were shot down last month in Wardak Province, Afghanistan. The Sailors stood at attention for the arrival of the families and honored guests attending the event. Theodore Roosevelt is undergoing a multi-year refueling, complex overhaul at Newport News Shipbuilding, a Division of Huntington-Ingalls Industries.
