STRAIT OF MAGELLAN (May 26, 2011) Sailors assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS Boone (FFG 28) shuttle personnel to the guided-missile frigate USS Thach (FFG 43) aboard a rigid-hull inflatable boat. Boone is anchored for a brief stop during a transit of the Strait of Magellan. Boone and Thach are deployed to South America supporting Southern Seas 2011.
