Get the Hell Out of Here

At one intersection stood a solitary soldier with a couple of panzerfausts. He looked at me in surprise. ‘What in the world are you waiting for?’ I asked him. ‘For the Americans,’ he replied. ‘And what will you do when the Americans come?’ He hesitated only a moment. ‘Get the hell out of here.’
