The HMS Hood: The Hood had 4 anti-aircraft guns in 1920 and 10 anti-aircraft guns and 5 Unrotated Projectile launchers in 1941. Each launcher carried 20 rockets that fired a length of cable into the air which was then held aloft by a small parachute with the intent of snagging low flying aircraft.
