Books I Mentioned This Week: Read with Caution (Part 3)

Hitler’s Generals edited by the British military historian Correlli Barnett. I give this book three stars. It is the best single volume available which gives an overview of the key German generals in WW II. But that being said, it is the very nature of the book which is its weakness: each general is profiled by a reputable historian but there is no overall examination of these men or any substantive comparison of one to another.
