An Honorable German Book Flash

One of the prompts of came from my agent who encouraged me to create a website which would be a comprehensive portal to information on U-Boats, the Kriegsmarine, and Germany in World War Two. So if you have a question such as: “how many war patrols did U-31 make, who was the commandant, and what was the fate of the boat?” You can come to my site and search my blog where I will tell you the exact website to go to and where to look.

I had always assumed that the author writes the book, the agent represents the book, and the publisher prints and sells it to readers. Unfortunately, I painfully learned that the author is often required to take his/her destiny into their own hands and help with each step of the process.

To this end, I decided to combine my previously stated desires to start this blog with the urgings of my agent to gain exposure and help push the book. I’ll expand upon my thoughts on this in future posts. But to start, I want to share with you something which I quick like which is a brief online video that does a great job of showing you what the book is about in imparting the mood of the era in which the story takes place. Enjoy.
